Ready-mix concrete (RMC) is widely used in modern construction because of its strength, consistency, and efficiency. Choosing the right concrete grade ensures safety, durability, and cost control.
A concrete grade shows the minimum compressive strength achieved after 28 days, measured in MPa. It is written as “M” followed by a number, such as M20 (20 MPa strength).
Selecting the correct grade helps the structure withstand loads and environmental conditions.
Concrete is made by mixing cement, sand, and aggregates in specific ratios. The mix proportion affects strength and quality.
There are two types: Nominal Mix (fixed ratios, used up to M25) and Design Mix (calculated by weight for better quality and consistency)
